February Favorites

Hi guys! Here are my February Favorites

Makeup

Clump Crusher mascara by Cover Girl- This month I kind of have re-discovered this mascara. What I love most about this mascara is that it doesn't make your eyelashes super dramatic so it’s perfect for school and everyday wear.

Stila lip glaze "strawberry cream- I received this lip glaze for Christmas from my god mother and it is now my everyday lip gloss. This lip gloss is great because it is not sticky and it’s a really nice light pink color that would pair perfectly with any skin tone.

Fit me! Bronzer by Maybelline- I love this product and it’s perfect for the winter when your skin is lacking that tanned look. What’s also great about this bronzer is that it comes in a variety of different shades to fit your skin tone.

Skincare

Nourish Organic Argan Face serum - This product is probably my new favorite skincare product of all time! It makes my skin so soft and helps with eczema. I put it my face and neck before I go to bed and in the morning I feel like I am waking up with perfect skin. I definitely recommend this product!

The Body Shop body butter "satsuma"- I love to use this to mosituze my legs after I get out of the shower. I love how this body butter makes  my legs feel so smooth and if you don’t like this scent there is a whole array of amazing body butters available at the body shop.

Hair

Frizz-Ease Straight Fixation smoothing cream by John Frieda- I tend to straighten my hair on a daily basis because it’s easy But this product has changed plain straight hairstyle for me in a whole new way. This product works great to fix all the stray hairs and fizzes in my hair. I love this product.

Fragrance

Pink Chiffon by Bath and Body Works- This body spray is perfect to splash on after gym or if you are in a rush in the morning but still want to smell good. I have gotten so many complements wearing this scent and I absolutely love this product.

Fashion

Wrap around beaded bracelets- This month I have loved stack different bracelets for some fantastic arm candy especially wrap around bracelets. I also love that you can purchase some from different charities and the money goes to a fantastic cause.

Army Jackets- For Christmas my sister received a really nice army jacket and lately I have been kind of stealing if from her and creating some pretty cool outfits. I love layering different sweaters with it.

Food

Trader Joe's Pomegranate white tea- As I mentioned in my sick essentials blog I am not a huge tea fan but lately I have been really getting into tea and I love this tea it is so good plus its packed with antioxidants. I really enjoy the pomegranate flavor it’s so yummy.

Hard-bite Potato chips- They have these chips in the "healthy" vending machine at my school so one day I decided to try them and these are probably the best kettle cooked potato chips I have ever had they don't even compare to Miss. Vickie’s. They come in a variety of yummy flavors at a great price.

My Sick Day Essentials

Lately I have come down with a cold and have been stuck inside the house so I thought I would share with you guys my essentials for when I am feeling under the weather. I would also just like to say that I am super sorry I haven't had a blog up for like ever! I had a really cool valentines day blog written and totally forgot to click publish, so maybe you guys will see it next year!

1.Tea - I am not a huge tea person but lately I have been really getting into it and I must say the tea world is a good world. I find that tea especially one with antioxidants helps me feel a little bit more awake and fresh.

2.Water - I know every one says to drink water when your sick but that's because it works. I find that maybe adding some lemon or lime or maybe even orange slices adds and great flavor to the water.

3. Face Clothes - What better way to cool down from a fever then a nice cold face cloth on the back of your neck. If you have a cold, I find some times washing my face with a cold face cloth makes me feel refreshed and more awake.

4.A Warm Sweater - I don't think there is anything better then cozening up with your favorite sweater when your sick.

5.Your Favorite Movie - weather is a horror movie or action more or chick flick if its your favorite its bound to cheer you up.

I hope guys enjoyed :) if you did let me know in the comments below or if you have any requests please comment those down below.

5 things to do when its raining

I know that sometimes bad weather can bring you down and trust me I know how you feel, it rains 24/7 sometimes where I live. So I thought why not post a blog on things you can do to add a little happiness to your rainy day.

1.Watch a movie

When its raining I like to curl up and watch a movie that I really enjoy but haven't seen for the longest time. Recently the Princess Diaries was added to Netflix and those movies bring back so many memories from when I was little, so it was a nice trip down memory lane.

2.Go to a Museum

If you would don't feel like staying inside your home all day try going to a museum. Its a nice change to do something that is somewhat educational and hey who knows, you might even learn something.

3.Bake!

I love baking and a rainy day is the perfect opportunity to try out a ton of new recipes. It also supplies you with an opportunity to make some breakfasts for the week ahead Some of my favorites are muffins, scones or loafs.

4.Read a book

I know everyone says to read a book on a rainy day, but trust me, when I say a good book is a great way to make a rainy day pass. I find that if you read a book on a rainy day you can escape into a different world and away from all the nasty weather. If you don't like reading try listening to books.

5.Start a blog!

Believe it or not I came up with the idea to start this blog on a rainy day, which also gave me the inspiration to write this blog. I love having blogs as my creative outlet. Check out may baking blog for recipes if idea number 3 appeals to you at teenagebakester.blogspot.com/

January Favorites

Hi Guys! I thought I would share with you my favorite finds for the month of January. I hope you enjoy!

Makeup

Mac blush "cubic" - I LOVE this blush. It is very easy to apply because you cant over do it. I have pale skin and sometimes its hard to find blushes that don't look over powering  but this blush works perfectly.

High Beam by Benefit- high beam is a fantastic liquid highlighter. I received a sample size in a value pack that I purchased at Sephora and I instantly fell in love this product. It goes on so nicely and is great for everyday
use.

Instant age rewind concealer by Maybelline- obviously I don't need this product for looking younger but its works great for dark circle concealer. I get dark circles  when I don't get enough sleep (which happens a lot...) and this concealer does a great job to cover them up and make me look more awake.

Contour/Concealer Palette by Morphe Brushes- What I love most about this palette is the variety. Its great for when I am doing my friends makeup because it has so many different shades of concealer to fit different skin tones. I personally enjoy the "green/blue" concealer, it is said to cover up redness and I think this is beat product that I have tired so far that deals with redness. I defiantly recommend this palette to anybody.

Food

Bananas and peanut butter smoothies- This smoothie is one of my dad's invention and its a great healthy choice for breakfast. One serving size is about 350 calories. To make this smoothie you just blend 3 medium bananas, 16 ounces of skim milk and two heaping tbsp all natural peanut butter, blend and enjoy :).

Kale!- known as one of the healthy food on earth. I love kale in soups, pan fried and made into oven-baked chips. I find its a very versatile ingredient and I love cooking with it.

Book

Allegiant by Veronica Roth- this book is the third book in the very popular divergent series and to be honest words can't describe how good this book is. When reading this book the romance and adventure will have you on the edge of your seat and you guaranteed to fall in love with the characters, I know I did. I recommend this book to all ages.
